Preposition ἐπί with the dative: condition


καὶ ἐπὶ τούτοις ὠμόσθησαν οἱ ὅρκοι

‘And on those conditions the oaths were sworn.’ (Xen. Hell. 7.4.11)

The preposition ἐπί with the dative signals a condition.
