Optative in the main clause without ἄν: concession

In Homeric language the optative of the possible wish can have a concessive meaning: τῇδ’ εἴη ‘it may be so...’

Example Sentences: 

ἰδόντα με καὶ λίποι αἰὼν

κτῆσιν ἐμήν

Let life leave me after I have seen my possessions again. [provisional translation]
